(HBO) – Aware of the importance of the Party membership development, over the past years, the Party Committee of Mai Chau district has always paid attention to this issue so as to promote the Party’s combatant strength and development.

A meeting to discuss measures for improving the quality of the Party membership development of the Party cell of Chieng Sai hamlet in Mai Chau township, Mai Chau district.

According to the district Party Committee’s organisation board, Tong Dau commune is a bright spot in the admission of new members to the Party.

Loc Van Tuong, Standing Vice Secretary of the communal Party Committee, said Tong Dau used to face difficulties in the Party membership development. However, thanks to many effective solutions, it has surmounted difficulties and fulfilled targets on new Party membership.

A typical example is the Party cell of Dau hamlet, which has more than 50 members at present.

Secretary of the Party cell Ha Cong Kho said basing on instructions given by the communal Party Committee, the Party Committee of Dau hamlet ordered local Party members to boost communications in residential areas to raise public awareness, and also assigned them and the youth union to introduce outstanding persons for admission to the Party. As a result, the Party cell has admitted at least two new members to the Party each year on average.

In 2022, the Party cell of Dau hamlet nominated four persons for Party membership. Its performance results helped the Party organisation of Tong Dau commune fulfill last year’s Party member admission target two months ahead of schedule, he noted.

The Mai Chau Party Committee’s organisation board said despite many disadvantages, the district has carried out appropriate and effective measures to meet and surpass targets for Party membership development in recent years.

Ha Van Tin, Chief of the Mai Chau Party Committee’s Office, said the district Party Committee’s Standing Board instructed localities to pay attention to the militia, organisations, and the youth union as sources of new Party members; educate members of organisations and the youth union on the glorious traditions of the Party to inspire their pride and will to move forwards; and step up emulation movements in socio-economic development to nurture and nominate outstanding persons for Party membership.

As a result, Party cells and organisations in Mai Chau district have gradually tackled bottlenecks in the Party membership development. Many fulfilled targets for the whole year in the first 10 months of 2022, including the Party organisations of Chieng Chau commune, Tong Dau commune, and Mai Chau township, raising the Party membership in the district to over 5,000./.
