(HBO) – Bui Duc Hinh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council on February 23 chaired a meeting of the committee for February, during which participants gave ideas on the implementation of many projects in the locality. Agenda of the meeting included the switching of land-use purpose for some rice farming areas in the province to give land to Phuc Tien urban project in Quang Tien commune of Hoa Binh city; the investment of a villa project in association with afforestation and eco-tourism in Mong Hoa commune of Hoa Binh city; the approval of a plan of re-borrowing capital from Government’s loans in 2023; a draft report and conclusion on the revision of the 10-year implementation of Resolution 20-NQ/TW of the 11th Party Central Committee on science-technology development serving the national industrialisation and modernisation in socialist-oriented market economy conditions and international integration; and a report on the implementation of major projects to be launched in 2023.

Participants also discussed a proposal from the provincial Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation and a conclusion of the provincial Party Committee on the revision of the three-year implementation of Directive 01- CT/TU of the committee on strengthening the Party leadership on supervision activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and social-political associations at all levels in Hoa Binh over the morality and lifestyle of leaders, officials and Party members.

Concluding the meeting, Hinh underlined the significance of the issues and projects stated in the proposals. He asked the People’s Committee Office and the provincial Party Committee’s Office to review investment projects to ensure they meet all regulations, while clarifying issues related to their socio-economic impacts and ground clearance plans as well as the capacity of investors.

Regarding the proposal by the provincial Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation, Hinh asked the Party Committees at all levels, Party Organisations, the front and social-political organisations to continue to direct the effective implementation of the provincial Party Committee’s Directive No.01, while strengthening leadership and management capacity of the administrations at all levels, and showing better performance in setting good examples of officials and Party members. It is necessary to handle officials and Party members showing signs of degradation in morality and lifestyle, he said./.
