(HBO) – The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee held a meeting on March 31 to give opinions on many socio-economic development issues to prepare for the coming meeting of the provincial People’s Council. Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, chaired the event.

Officials looked into several issues, including
Proposal No 163-TTr/BCSĐ on the approval of the allocation plan for the central
budget’s capital under the socio-economic recovery and development programme
(Phase 2), a proposal by the Party’s civil affairs board of the provincial
People’s Committee on the fourth supplementation to the province’s medium-term
public investment plan for 2021 - 2025 and on the projects added to the list of
those covered by this plan, along with a proposal on the supplementation to the
medium-term public investment plan 2021 - 2025 for implementing the national
target programmes in Hoa Binh province.
They discussed a proposal to the provincial
People’s Council seeking the council’s issuance of a resolution on seedling
support for orange re-cultivation in Cao Phong district during 2023 - 2025, a
resolution approving investment in a project on urgent response to
disaster-caused dyke erosion along the Da River in Dong Tien ward of Hoa Binh
city, and a proposal by the Party’s civil affairs board of the provincial
People’s Committee about the allocation of the central budget’s funding for the
national target programme on new-style rural area building.
A proposal on supplementation to the agenda of
the 17th-tenure provincial People’s Council’s 13th session was also under
consideration. Participants discussed and reached high
consensus on the proposals.
Concluding the meeting, Nguyen Phi Long,
alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial
Party Committee, said the proposals and draft documents need to comply with the
regulations issued by the standing members and Standing Board of the provincial
Party Committee. He also demanded enhancement of decentralisation so that
agencies can effectively perform their tasks to serve local socio-economic

The Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation of Hoa Binh province convened a meeting on March 11 to deploy key tasks.

The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
