(HBO) – On the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2023), Bui Van Khanh, Vice Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, has visited some families of revolution contributors in Lac Son district.
He was joined by
officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Committee, the Military
Command, the People’s Committee Office, and the Department of Labour, Invalids
and Social Affairs of the province, along with representatives of the Lac Son
administration.
Bui Van Khanh, Vice Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee,
presents a gift from the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s
Committee, and VFF Committee to Quach Cong Vinh, a war invalid in Vo hamlet of
Quyet Thang commune (Lac Son district).
The
delegation visited the families of Quach Cong Vinh (born in 1957), a war
invalid in Vo hamlet; Bui Van Bien (born in 1949), a war invalid in Giang Bai
hamlet of Quyet Thang commune; and Bui Van Dan (born in 1962), a war invalid
living on Huu Nghi street in Vu Ban township.
Visiting
the families, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Khanh expressed his
deep gratitude to forerunners, heroes, martyrs, and revolution contributors who
laid down their lives and made enormous contributions to the national
liberation and reunification.
He and
other officials presented gifts from the provincial Party Committee, People’s
Council, People’s Committee, and VFF Committee to the revolution contributors.
Wishing them good health, he called on the contributors to keep setting good
examples and educate their descendants on the revolutionary tradition so that
following generations will study hard and work industriously to contribute to
local development./.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
Throughout his revolutionary life, Uncle Ho visited Hoa Binh province four times. He also sent dozens of letters, telegrams, greeting cards, and heartfelt messages to local officials, Party members, and people of all ethnic groups, urging them to remain united, support one another, strive for progress, and actively engage in both production and resistance efforts to build a prosperous homeland.
To unlock the full potential of its forest resources, the standing board of the provincial Party Committee on July 30, 2020 issued a Resolution on the sustainable development of production forests through 2025, with a vision toward 2030.
In recent years, the education and training sector in Cao Phong district, Hoa Binh province, has actively integrated its tasks with the promotion of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style. This approach has contributed significantly to improving the overall quality of education across the district.
The Hoa Binh provincial museum on May 16 opened a thematic exhibition "Under the flag of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam" with more than 200 documents, images and objects featuring the glorious 95-year journey of the Party.
Hoa Binh police are collecting public feedback on amendments to the 2013 Constitution via the national identification app VNeID. This innovative approach marks a giant leap towards modernising grassroots democracy and enhancing transparency in public consultation.
