(HBO) – As part of the efforts to implement the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat’ Directive 23-CT/TW on enhancing the quality and efficiency of studying, applying and developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thoughts in the new period, the local Party Committee, administration and Vietnam Fatherland Front of Da Bac have strengthened the work among all political-social organisations and localities, producing positive results.
In order to effectively realise Directive 23, the district has paid great attention to educating local officials, Party members and youngsters on the Marxism-Leninism ad Ho Chi Minh thoughts as well as the Party orientations, policies and resolutions.
In the 2018-2022 period, the district Centre of Politics organised 182 training courses for 9,500 trainees, along with three intermediate-level ones for 371 officials, and elementary ones for 1,700 new Party members and outstanding locals.
Meanwhile, summer politics courses have been also held for over 1,300 teachers and management officials from the local education sector.
Communications have been strengthened to popularise Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thoughts, along with historical education among the local community, especially youngsters, in many forms.
Hoang Van Dam, Deputy Secretary of the district Party Committee, said that during the five years implementing Directive 23, the studying of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh thoughts has been fruitful, with effective realisation of many Party resolutions and directives, laying the ground for the protection of the Party’s ideological foundation in the new period./.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies.
