In the past, the place where the Nat Son Party cell was established belonged to Tram hamlet, Nat Son commune, Luong Son area of Hoa Binh province. After many times of adjustments in administrative boundaries, today, the site is in Hoi Tram hamlet of Hung Son commune, which had an important military position and a strategic gateway of Hoa Binh to the plain. The Nat Son Party cell was formed to directly lead the revolutionary movement in the district.

On May 11, 1947, the Nat Son Party cell was formed at the tilt house of Bui Van Xe’s family in Tram hamlet of Nat Son commune. This was the first rural Party cell of Luong Son area at that time. Its establishment was of great importance to the revolutionary movement of Nat Son in particular and the district in general, leading Nat Son locals during the struggle against the French colonialists.

In January 2023, the founding location of the Nat Son Party cell was recognised by the provincial People’s Committee as a provincial-level revolutionary historical relic site.
