Over the recent years, Luong Son district has strongly stepped up the application of information technology to all social aspects, especially administrative procedures. However, as not all people are skilled at using administrative management apps and softwares, civil servants’ role and sense of responsibility have been promoted to support people and also to fulfill their duties. This is a demonstration of a breakthrough step in studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, moral example, and style which is creating a contingent of devoted and incorruptible cadres, Party members, civil servants, and public employees who wholeheartedly serve the people.

The district identified the breakthrough steps relevant to the local situation that need to be taken during the tenure so as to make improvements in studying and following the late leader’s ideology, moral example, and style. They consist of promoting the sense of responsibility among the leaders of Party committees, agencies, localities, and units; properly upholding professional ethnics; and building a contingent of devoted and incorruptible cadres, Party members, civil servants, and public employees who are close to, respect, and wholeheartedly serve the people

Local agencies and units have connected the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, moral example, and style with their patriotic emulation movements and campaigns.

Notably, the education and training sector has effectively carried out the movements of "Developing friendly schools and active students” and "Each teacher is a bright example of morality, self-learning, and creativity”. The Women’s Union has expanded the "Piggy bank” and "Rice jar of savings” models while helping build houses for low-income, single, and disabled women. The Veterans’ Association has also boosted joint efforts to assist war veterans to escape from poverty, enhanced the "Exemplary veterans” model, and coordinated with local schools to reduce the dropout rate. Besides, the Farmers’ Association has fostered a movement in which its members have emulated in production and business activities and supported one another to eliminate poverty and raise incomes.

It could be said that the implementation of the breakthrough steps in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, moral example, and style in Luong Son district has helped address shortcomings, difficulties, and bottlenecks while inspiring and bringing into play local cadres’ spirit of self-reliance to promote socio-economic development and task performance in each locality, agency, and unit./.
