(HBO) - On May 23, a delegation of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee led by Bui Duc Hinh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council, had a working session with the Standing Board of the Kim Boi district Party Committee on implementing the Resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress.

Bui Duc Hinh, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party
Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council, speaks at meeting with
Kim Boi district Party Committee.
After the district Party Congress, the district Party
Committee's Standing Board has held 12 conferences; promulgated 15 plans, 16
resolutions, and 11 programmes in order to effectively grasp and implement the
resolution of the district Party Congress. The implementation of the district
Party Congress’s Resolution has created positive changes in the fields of
culture, education, and health care. The implementation of social welfare,
defence and security policies has been maintained and stabilised. The
three-year average economic growth has increased by 14.3%, exceeding 0.3% of
the target set out in the Resolution; average per capita income reached 48
million VND (2,044 USD) in 2022, equal to 80% of the target set in the
resolution; and State budget revenue was 413 billion VND, equivalent to 344.1%.
Members of the delegation and the district Party Committee
discussed and pointed out some shortcomings and limitations in leading the
implementation, and proposed four main groups of solutions to successfully
carry out the Resolution, with focus on indicators that are forecast to be hard
to achieve such as urbanisation and forest coverage rates.
Speaking at the working session, Hinh acknowledged the
results achieved in the implementation of the district Party Congress’s
Resolution.
He asked the Party committees and authorities in Kim Boi
district to focus on well protecting the Party’s ideological foundation; firmly
grasp public opinion, especially during the implementation of major projects
and key works; create favourable conditions for projects to be implemented on
schedule.
The leader also stressed the need to speed up the
formulation of land use planning and plans suitable to socio-economic
development conditions, and continue paying attention to ensuring defence and
security in the locality; while assigning the district to focus on reviewing
and resolutely withdrawing projects with slow progress. For communes that
register to meet new-style rural area building criteria during the term, the
district should prioritise allocating resources for them, he added./.
