(HBO) – A delegation of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board led by Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, examined the implementation of the 17th provincial Party Congress’s resolution for the 2020 - 2025 tenure at the Party Committee of Tan Lac district on June 6.
Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, addresses the meeting.
Local officials reported that to effectively implement the resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress, the Tan Lac district Party Committee and its Standing Board have issued more than 2,000 documents covering different fields to direct the performance of political tasks. In the first half of the tenure, Party committees and administrations at all levels and people in Tan Lac have exerted efforts to carry out the resolutions of the 24th district Party Congress, the 17th provincial Party Congress, and the 13th National Party Congress. As a result, many important results have been recorded.
So far, the district has achieved and overfulfilled seven of the 15 targets set in the 24th district Party Congress’s resolution. In particular, the production value has grown 17.3% on average since 2021 to reach 115% of the target, the State budget collection increased 25.8% annually to be 10.8% higher than the target, the urbanisation rate has stood at 28.9% and been equivalent to 103.2% of the target, while the household poverty rate has been declining.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic has directly affected the production value growth of some key sectors; Tan Lac still lacks concerted moves to make three socio-economic development breakthroughs; the development of socio-economic infrastructure, especially transport and urban facilities, still face certain obstacles; and some key projects on land use right auctioning remain sluggish.
At the meeting, the inspection delegation highly valued the achievements obtained by the Party organisation of Tan Lac and also pointed out shortcomings, causes, and solutions so as to fulfill duties and reach targets for the whole tenure.
In his remarks, Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, asked the district Party Committee and its Standing Board to uphold a high sense of responsibility to lead and direct efforts so that Tan Lac can reach the targets set in the resolutions of the 17th provincial Party Congress and the 24th district Party Congress, as well as those at all levels for the 2020 - 2025 tenure.
He demanded due attention to site clearance for projects, further examination and inspection of the granting of land use right certificates, and the building of the Party and political system./.
