(HBO) - On June 13 afternoon, a delegation of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee led by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, inspected the implementation of the Resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress in the 2020 - 2025 term at Cao Phong district's Party Committee.

In implementation of the 17th provincial Party Committee Resolution over the first half of the term, the Cao Phong district Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the drastic implementation of the set goals and tasks. Therefore, the district’s economic structure has changed positively; agricultural production has developed in the direction of high-value goods, in accordance with VietGAP standards; social welfare guaranteed; and defence security maintained. To date, seven out of nine communes have reached new-style rural area building standards. 

Delegates analysed the achieved results, discussed shortcomings and limitations, as well as solutions to help Cao Phong district’s Party Committee improve the efficiency of implementation of the 17th provincial Party Committee Resolution from now to the end of the term. 

Secretary Long acknowledged outstanding results achieved in Cao Phong district in implementing the resolution during the past half of the term. Assigning tasks for the coming time, he asked the district to focus on disseminating guidelines, policies and laws of the Party and State; creating consensus among local people to effectively carry out socio-economic development programmes and projects; consolidating and building grassroots Party organisations; improving the quality of Party members in association with increasing the quality of activities of Party cells; and strengthening inspection, supervision, prevention and control of corruption and negative phenomena. 

In addition, Cao Phong should continue to focus on implementing key socio-economic development programmes, he stated, stressing the need to assign specific tasks to each individual, and clearly define key tasks in each period so as to successfully implement the resolution.
