(HBO) - In the half term of implementing the Party Congress Resolution at all levels, the Party Committee of Xuan Thuy commune, Kim Boi district of the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh, has made several breakthroughs in socio-economic development.


Implementing the resolution of the Party Committee, people in Xuan Thuy commune expand area for growing Huong Chi longan, helping increase incomes for farmers.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Xuan Thuy commune Bach Cong Luong said it has determined the tenure’s spearhead is sustainable economic development.

Accordingly, the commune has mobilised people to renovate and clear deserted gardens, expand Son Thuy longan growing areas, apiculture, pumpkin planting, among others.

Reviewing the half term of implementing the Party Congress Resolution, Luong acknowledged that building a strong Party, administration and political system while promoting solidarity and unity are important factors to boost locality’s socio-economic development.

Notably, after three years, the locality has completed and overfulfilled 10 out of the 15 targets of the Congress Resolution, while the implementation of remaining targets has reached over 50%. Average growth rate was 11% a year, reaching 110% of the Resolution; total planting area topped the Resolution by16%; while the per capita food average was approximately109% of the Resolution.

In order to promote roles and exemplary characters of cadres and Party members, members of the Standing Board of the Party Committee assigned to be in charge of cell branches attend monthly meetings to popularise guidelines of the upper level Party Committees and promptly listen to ideas and aspirations of party members.

Secretary of the Khoang village Party cell Bui Van Dong said that in order help locals reach a high consensus about the policy of building a new rural residential area model, the Party Committee and its Party members have visited each house to popularise and encourage people to join hands in building new-style rural areas.

With achieved results, the Party Committee of Xuan Thuy commune has affirmed its right direction will be a solid foundation for the locality to continue to make breakthroughs and soon realise targets and tasks in the resolution proposed by the commune party committee.
