(HBO) – The Party organisation of Huu Loi commune, Yen Thuy district has channeled focus on directing local sectors and organisations to build plan and accelerate the implementation of the resolution adopted at the communal Party Congress for the 2020-2025 period.
Raising chickens for eggs model by Dinh Cong Van in Cuong hamlet, Huu Loi commune has shown economic efficiency.
According to Secretary of the communal Party Committee Do Hoang Giang, the Party organisation set 22 criteria for Party and political system building as well as socio-economic development, with focus given to improving the combat capacity of the Party organisation, promoting democracy and solidarity, boosting socio-economic development, accelerating administrative reform, and building Huu Loi into a commune with comprehensive development.
With a view to bringing the its resolution into life, the Party organisation has assigned local officials to work closely with local residents to better understand their aspirations, while improving the quality of the meetings of the Party cells.
Besides, it has paid due attention to carrying out the Politburo’s Directive No.05, and Conclusion No.01 on promoting the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style in tandem with the resolution on Party building and rectification adopted at the 4th session of the 13th Party Central Committee.
Currently, the commune’s agro-forestry sector accounts for 48.7% of its economic structure while industry and cottage industry 4.1% and trade-service 47.3%.
Huu Loi is now cultivating 349 hectares of rice, 148 hectares of corn, 143 hectares of cassava, and 154 hectares of other crops. It is promoting the shifting of crop structure and land grouping to improve agricultural production value.
Collective economic models such as citrus cultivation, poultry farming and forestry processing have been encouraged in the commune, helping generate jobs for local workers. Over the past time, Huu Loi commune has stepped up investment attraction, as well as given priority to branching trade-service and forestry, and capitalising on local potential and strengths.
Local firms have enjoyed robust business results, helping create more jobs and contribute to the state budget. To date, the commune’s income per capita reaches nearly 40 million VND (over 1,600 USD).
A delegation of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam led by Ambasador Sandeep Arya paid a working trip to Hoa Binh province on April 1, aiming to explore cooperation opportunities.
