According to Nguyen Cong Minh, Chairman of Cao Phong district’s VFF committee, to promote the great solidarity of the entire people and create consensus in society, all chapters of the district VFF committee have diversified forms of gathering and coordinated with member organisations to encourage cadres, members and people from all walks of life to abide by the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and law, as well as join patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the VFF Central Committee and Hoa Binh’s VFF committee.

The campaign "All people stay united to build new-style rural areas and civilised urban areas” has promoted the proactiveness and creativity among local residents, helping each other develop their economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, preserving and promoting national identity. Therefore, a lot of creative emulation models have been launched and replicated, he said.

In 2023, the district’s VFF committee has coordinated with the steering committee for new-style rural area building and member organisations to continue to call on people to donate land and workdays to build roads and other public works serving the movement and participate in environmental protection. Now, the district has seven out of nine communes satisfying new-style rural area standards, including four communes meeting the criteria of an advanced new-style rural area.

In the first nine months of this year, all chapters of the district VFF committee and its member organisations handed over 12 houses, worth 390 million VND (16,000 USD), for poor households, people with services to the nation, and social policy beneficiary families. They also allocated 600 million VND from the provincial "Fund for the Poor" to support the construction of great solidarity houses for 15 poor households in the locality.

The district VFF committee has well performed its role as an organisation representing, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people as well as participating in supervision work at agencies, units and localities. The performance of its all chapters has helped strengthen the great national unity bloc in the locality, contributing to the successful implementation of its socio-economic development, ensuring national defence and security, building a strong political system, and improving the material and spiritual life of locals.
