The Hoa Binh Police have held a meeting with local Catholic dignitaries, as the Christmas is approaching. Participants were Bui Tien Luc, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee, head of the committee’s Mass Mobilisation Commission, Chairman of the provincial chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Do Thanh Binh, member of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee and Director of the provincial Police; members of the provincial Police Directorate; representatives of the Department of Home Affairs; and 19 Catholic officials from various parishes in the province.

At the event, Luc and Binh extended best wishes to the entire Catholic community, saying they hope the followers will have a peaceful and joyful Christmas. 

Hoa Binh has always shown interest and provided favourable conditions for the Catholic community’s development and freedom of belief and religion. The province acknowledges and highly values their efforts in and contributions to implementing the Party's guidelines and the state's policies and laws, as well as their active participation in patriotic movements, ensuring local security and order, and the great national solidarity building and consolidating. 

In response, Catholic dignitaries expressed their gratitude to the provincial authorities for their assistance and support in creating favourable conditions for religious activities. 

Affirming their trust in the Party's leadership and compliance with the state's policies and laws, they pledged the local Catholic community’s further contributions to the security and growth of the province.
