The regular year-end session of the provincial People's Council in the 2021-2026 tenure wrapped up on the December 8 afternoon, with 49 important resolutions related to socio-economic development adopted.

Attending the event were alternate member
of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee
Nguyen Phi Long, and Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and
Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Bui Van Khanh, among others. Vice
Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial
People's Council Bui Duc Hinh, and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's
Council Nguyen Thi Cam Phuong co-chaired the session.
Delegates discussed at hall reports
presented by representatives from the standing boards of the provincial
People's Council and People's Committee, and sectors; shared views on contents
with different opinions pointed out in the verification reports of the units of
the provincial People's Council, and the acquisition and explanation report of
the provincial People's Committee on the draft resolution presented at the
meeting.
They also discussed proposals of the
provincial People's Council delegates to competent agencies through meeting
with voters and monitoring the situation at localities, and detecting
difficulties and problems that need to be solved to meet the needs and
aspirations of voters and people.
Khanh explained different opinions in
discussions, while leaders of departments and sectors clarified issues related
to the province's socio-economic development. On behalf of the provincial
People's Committee, the chairman took note of comments on positive aspects as
well as limitations and subjective causes in the year.
At the meeting, a leader of the provincial
People's Committee presented a report, and delegates voted to dismiss Bui Thi
Nhiem, former Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, from
the post as member of the provincial People's Committee in the 2021-2026 term.
Participants voted to approve 49 important
resolutions for socio-economic development of the province, including a
socio-economic development plan and a public investment plan for 2024; local
budget estimates and a provincial budget allocation plan for the year; and the
improvement of the effectiveness of state management on land planning,
management, and use in Hoa Binh province.
The Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation of Hoa Binh province convened a meeting on March 11 to deploy key tasks.

The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
