Head of the provincial Party Committee’s mass mobilisation board and Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Bui Tien Luc presents gifts and offers greetings to priests, dignitaries, officials, and Catholic followers at Muong Riec parish in My Thanh commune, Lac Son district on the occasion of the Christmas season 2023.


Lac Son district is now home to nearly 4,500 Catholic followers, with more than 2,000 at Muong Riec parish, nearly 2,000 at Muong Cat, and around 500 at Vu Ban.

At the meeting, Luc, on behalf of the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee, highlighted the local socio-economic achievements in 2023, and recognised local priests, dignitaries and officers’ contributions to the province’s socico-economy, security and social order.

He wished the Catholic followers a Christmas season of health, peace and happiness, and asked them to continue following the Party’s guidelines and State’s regulations to build a more prosperous Hoa Binh province.

The priests, for their part, thanked the provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee for their care for the Catholic followers.

They said they will promote religious solidarity, and accompany the nation’s development.
