The 15th provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in the 2019-2024 tenure held its 10th meeting on December 25. Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council Bui Duc Hinh attended and delivered a speech at the event.

In 2023, the Fatherland Front Committees at
all levels in the province has coordinated with local authorities, agencies and
member organisations to actively implement set tasks. In the year, the funds
for the poor at all levels have received donations of 34.3 billion VND (1.41
million USD), of which 20.1 billion VND was allocated to build and repair 433
great solidarity houses, develop production, provide medical examination and
treatment, and support poor students in the province. They have coordinated to organise
11 meetings with voters of the provincial Delegation of National Assembly
Deputies, 36 meetings with voters of deputies of the provincial People's
Council, and 1,113 conferences to meet and listen to locals’ thoughts,
aspirations, and legitimate petitions and suggestions.
Speaking at the event, Hinh asked the
fronts at all levels and their member organisations to continue to innovate and
improve the effectiveness of dissemination to encourage locals to successfully
implement socio-economic development goals; and well prepare the contents of
the Fatherland Front Congress at all levels in Hoa Binh province for the
2024-2029 term, especially in personnel work.
He emphasised that the fronts at all levels
need to promote its core role in widely implementing patriotic campaigns and
emulation movements to create consensus, and active engagement of all classes
of people and the whole society; carry out activities to ensure social security
with creative forms and methods; use funds to ensure openness, transparency and
efficiency; and further improve the quality and effectiveness of social
criticism activities and implement planned supervision activities. It is
necessary to focus on personnel training, strengthen mass mobilisation work,
and promote the application of information technology in operations.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland
Front Central Committee presents "For the cause of great national
solidarity" insignia to 63 individuals in Hoa Binh. The provincial Vietnam
Fatherland Front Committee presented an emulation flag to the Vietnam
Fatherland Front Committee of Lac Son district - the leading unit in the front
work in 2023; and certificates of merit to 46 collectives and 32 individuals
with outstanding achievements in the front work in 2023.
Lac Son district is reorganising and streamlining its organisational apparatus and the contingent of officials, civil servants and public employees in line with Resolution 18 issued by the 12th Party Central Committee.
The provincial Department of Public Security has reorganised its structure to enhance operational efficiency and meet the evolving demands of the new era. In line with the Resolution No. 25 of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the move aims to streamline personnel, standardise leadership roles, and strengthen the police force’s capacity while creating better conditions for modernising equipment.
The subcommittee for documents of the 18th Hoa Binh provincial Party Congress, the 2025 - 2030 term, convened on March 3 to review and incorporate public feedback on the congress’s draft documents. The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
Kim Boi district of Hoa Binh province has thoroughly implemented and adhered to Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on restructuring the organisational apparatus of the political system towards a streamlined, efficient, and effective direction, ensuring no disruption of work.
