The event was also attended by leaders of the information and education board, the mass mobilisation board, and the Office of the provincial Party Committee, along with some relevant departments and sectors.
Participants briefed on the survey.
At the event, participants were provided with a
brief introduction of the sociological survey on the military - civil bonds in
the era of Tay Tien soldiers to learn about its initial results.
They were also informed about conclusions made
at two scientific seminars on the topic in Mai Chau and Lac Son districts. The
conclusions affirmed the contributions by Regiment 52 Tay Tien to the
revolutionary movement in the two localities. Besides, they clarified the
leadership of the Party and the two districts’ administrations during the
resistance war against French colonialists, when all forces and people of all
strata were mobilised for the fight and joined hands in protecting, caring for,
and assisting Tay Tien soldiers despite hardships of the fierce war.

Associations suggested that in the time ahead, the districts should continue
perfecting dossiers to propose the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and
Tourism seek the provincial People’s Committee’s recognition of the
headquarters of Regiment 52 Tay Tien in Mai Hich commune (Mai Chau district) as

administration seek the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s recognition
of the site of Regiment 52 Tay Tien in Thuong Coc commune (Lac Son district) as
a national historical relic site.
