Over the years, with the motto of reform, solidarity, and flexibility, the Party Organisation, administration and residents of Phu Cuong commune in Tan Lac district have exerted efforts to overcome difficulties and effectively implemented the resolutions of the Party Congress at all levels and the 23rd communal Party Congress, laying a firm foundation for the local socio-economic development.

Right from the beginning of the 2020-2025 period, the communal Party
Organisation built specific plans and programmes to bring Party resolutions to
life.
Bui Van Hai, Secretary of the Phu Cuong Party Committee, said that after more
than half of the tenure, thanks to comprehensive measures to promote internal
and outside resources, the rural area has seen great progress, completing and
exceeding all socio-economic targets.
Meanwhile, the smart mass mobilisation movement and the new-style rural area
building programme have been sped up, while the supervision and criticism role
of the People’s Council and socio-political organisations in the locality
during the implementation of political tasks has been promoted, and advantages
in economic development optimised.
Bui Van Tinh, Secretary of the Party cell of Trao village, said that each
month, it has convened a meeting for its 23 members to evaluate the
implementation of Party resolutions at all levels and the resolution of the
Party cell. Members of the Party cell have also encouraged locals to implement
the resolutions, he said.
Bui Van Lan, a member of the Party cell of Khoi village, said that realising
the policy to transform crop and livestock structure, his family has invested
in pig farming with good results, earning 200-300 million VND (8,200-12,300 USD)per year.
Bui Van Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Cuong commune said that
currently, the average per capita income of locals has reached 43 million VND
per year. The rate of poor households has been reduced to 26.96%, while 82% of
local families have received the title of family of culture, and 90.9% of
villages have been recognised as residential areas of culture.
The comprehensive success of the commune has affirmed the Party proper
leadership over the implementation of socio-economic development, poverty
reduction tasks.
