Improving the power quality is identified by PC Hoa Binh as a key task to better meet the customers' needs for electricity for the daily life and production. Mr.  Luong Van Phuong, the Deputy Director of Hoa Binh PC, says: In recent years, the company has focused the resources to invest in new construction, renovation and upgrading of the power grids in areas with low voltage quality; Upgrading and building the new transformer stations in the underloaded, overloaded areas with long power supply radius. In addition, we have focused on upgrading the power grid infrastructure to serve the development of industrial parks, especially in Luong Son district and Hoa Binh City. Thanks to that, the quality of electricity is improved, basically meeting the daily and production needs of the customers.

In 2023, PC Hoa Binh carried out 25 investment projects, building the power grid infrastructure with a total investment of over 240 billion VND. Among them, there were 3 110kV power grid projects; 19 projects of medium and low voltage power grid and 3 other investment and construction projects. In addition, the company continues to implement other projects and works carried forward from 2022. In 2023, nearly 100 long-operated transformers were replaced by new transformers with capacities from 100 - 400 kVA. PC Hoa Binh has also upgraded the capacity of 31 kVA, 50 kVA, 75 kVA transformers to 100 kVA. With those efforts, the power grid infrastructure in the province has been invested more completely, and the quality of power has improved significantly, especially in the rural areas with low voltage quality.

According to the Deputy Director of Hoa Binh PC, Mr. Luong Van Phuong, in 2024, Hoa Binh PC continues to implement the investment projects and build new power grid infrastructure. In particular, they will build over 50 distribution transformer stations in Kim Boi, Da Bac, Cao Phong, Tan Lac, Lac Son, Luong Son districts and Hoa Binh City. In addition, they will deploy the automation of medium-voltage power grid loops in Hoa Binh province in 2024; Building and renovatinf Luong Son district’s low-voltage power grid; renovating the medium voltage line 371E19.3 of Lac Thuy Electricity; Improving the reliability of power supply for the 35 kV power grid in the districts of Kim Boi, Cao Phong, Tan Lac, Lac Son, and Da Bac according to the multi-divided - multi-connected (MDMC) plan.

Since the beginning of January 2024, the investment projects to build the power grid infrastructure have been started, and are currently actively being constructed towards the goal of completing the energization in the first quarter of 2024. The Deputy Director of Hoa Binh PC, Mr. Luong Van Phuong, emphasizes: To implement the construction investment projects ensuring the progress, the company has proposed many solutions. In particular, the priority is to focus on improving the quality of investment planning, design consulting, appraisal and approval of the economic and technical reports of projects that have been assigned and are expected to be implemented in the near future. It is suggested developing the detailed implementation plans for each implementation phase for ongoing projects to manage and monitor the implementation progress, ensuring the completion according to the energization plan and project settlement. In addition, it is important to promptly coordinate with the localities to soon complete the land procedures and approve the plans fỏ the site clearance compensation, ensuring the completion of these procedures for ongoing and finalized projects, temporarily zoned according to the progress and plans assigned by the Corporation.
