founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
On February 3, 1930, the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) was born, marking a
great turning point and a brilliant milestone on the development path of the
revolution and the nation.
The provincial Party Committee has creatively realised the Party Central
Committee’s guidelines and policies, constantly perfecting, innovating,
enhancing its leadership capacity, and directing the implementation of
political tasks, with significant achievements gained.
Looking back on 2023, the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee
seriously materialised documents on Party building and rectification, and paid
attention to the personnel work.
The Party's inspection and supervision work was conducted substantively,
concertedly, and effectively, contributing to raising public confidence in the
Party's guidelines and policies.
The quality and leadership and management capacity of authorities at all levels
were greatly improved. The Party's resolutions on Party building,
socio-economic development, and taking care of people's lives were put in
place.
The Party organisation of Luong Son district, for example, focused on personnel
development and the implementation of major political tasks.
Nguyen Duc Dung, Secretary of the district Party Committee, said Luong Son
completed 14 out of the 15 criteria in 2023, concentrating on materialising a
resolution adopted by the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board regarding
resources mobilisation to turn the district into a fourth-tier urban area,
striving towards the township status by 2025.
Hoa Binh city also worked to remove deadlocks to site clearance and speed up
key projects, aiming to earn the second-tier urban area title by 2025.
Meanwhile, Kim Boi district enhanced its coordination with departments and
agencies to attract more investments in mineral water, dubbed "white gold”, and
local tourism.
Last year, Hoa Binh province completed 16 out of the 20 set tasks. Some major
economic indicators and sectors increased significantly as compared with the
previous year, with agriculture remaining an economic pillar.
Notably, the provincial planning scheme by 2050 was announced, creating an
important legal basis for all-level Party Committees and authorities to uphold
their management and make policies, attracting more investments in the
locality.
Progress was also made in culture, social affairs, education-training, health
care, social welfare, as well as national defence-security, and social order
and safety.
The 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Groups of Hoa Binh province was successfully held on November 15 at the provincial Culture Centre.
In line with the Politburo’s Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting the study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, the Party Organisation of Kim Boi district has been focusing on developing practical models that align with the roles and realities of local agencies and communities involved. Through this initiative, numerous officials and Party members have emerged as exemplary figures, leading by example in learning from and following the late leader.
Hoa Binh province has paid due attention to developing Party membership in non-state enterprises, helping improve the role of the Party committees, organisations and members in the firms.
A delegation from the National Assembly (NA), led by Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, on November 10 visited and presented gifts to poor households and policy beneficiary families in Yen Tri commune, Yen Thuy district of Hoa Binh.
