Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, and other officials on April 8 examined some key transport projects, namely the road connecting Tran Hung Dao Road and Dan Chu ward with National Highway 6, the regional connectivity road linking Hoa Binh and Hanoi with Son La Expressway (Hoa Binh - Moc Chau), and the first phase of a road from Luong Son township of Hoa Binh to Xuan Mai township of Hanoi.

These projects are critically to promoting
socio-economic development, improving people’s life quality, and ensuring
social security and defence - security. However, there remain a number of
difficulties and problems, especially in terms of site clearance and procedures
for investment, construction, and conversion of forest and rice farming land,
which have hampered their progress.
In terms of the regional connectivity road, the
Secretary asked the Party Civil Affairs Board of the provincial People’s
Committee to direct the provincial People’s Committee, departments, sectors,
and district-level administrations to quickly complete budget estimates to
compensate the affected households to ready clean ground for the investor. He
told the investor to urge contractors to mobilise machinery, equipment, and
manpower for accelerating construction at ready locations, and complete
procedures, including those related to the conversion of land use purposes.
Visiting the Luong Son - Xuan Mai road project
(Phase 1), he demanded the investors and relevant agencies to work closely with
the Party Committee and administration of Luong Son district to boost site
clearance and resettlement area construction so as to soon hand over clean
ground to contractors.
With regard to the road connecting Tran Hung Dao
Road and Dan Chu ward with National Highway 6, Long asked all-level
authorities, sectors, localities, and the investor to enhance coordination to
propose solutions to site clearance and procedure-related problems, build
monthly and quarterly plans, speed up site clearance, pay due attention to the
building of resettlement areas, and direct contractors to hasten the project.

On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
