A delegation of Hoa Binh leaders led by alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long offered incense to President Ho Chi Minh at the late leader’s statue at the Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant, on the occasion of his 134th birthday (May 19, 1890 - 2024).
The delegation includes Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the
Hoa Binh Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui
Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee and Chairman of the
provincial People’s Committee; and leaders of local departments, agencies,
sectors, and Hoa Binh city.

At President Ho Chi Minh’s statue, the delegation observed a minute of silence
in memory of the late leader. They showed respect and gratitude to President Ho
Chi Minh, a noble symbol of Vietnamese patriotism and revolutionary heroism,
and radiant crystallisation of morality, intelligence, courage, and conscience
of the nation and the times who spent his entire life fighting for independence
and freedom of the nation.
On the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh’s 134th birthday, the Party Committee
and local residents have conducted activities to show their respect and
gratitude to the leader. The provincial Party Organisation will continue
focusing on implementing the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW on continuing
to realise Directive 05-CT/TW on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s
ideology, moral example and lifestyle in line with the implementation of the
resolution of the 12th Party Central Committee’s fourth session and the Party
Central Committee’s Conclusion No.21-KL/TW on strengthening the building and
rectification of the Party and the political system.
Alongside, the province will effectively implement socio-economic development
and poverty reduction programmes, plans and projects, thus successfully
realising the 17th provincial Party Congress’ Resolution, turning Hoa Binh into
more beautiful and civilised locality.

The meeting was chaired by Nguyen Phi Long, an alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee. It was attended by senior provincial officials, including Bui Thi Minh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the Standing Board of the provincial Party Committee; and members of the document subcommittee.
Muong Bi - Tan Lac, one of the four major Muong ethnic minority-inhabited regions in Hoa Binh, is known for not only its distinctive cultural identity but also its proud history of heroism, with great contributions to the victory against US invaders in the past. Today, Tan Lac district continues to uphold this legacy while embracing development and renewal.
March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
