The Party Committee of Lac Son district on May 15 organised a seminar to celebrate the 134th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2024) and evaluate the results of the three-year implementation of the Politburo’s Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021, on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting the learning and following of the late leader’s ideology, morality, and lifestyle.

Over the past three years, studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle has become a regular task of officials, Party members and people in the district, creating stronger changes in their awareness of training themselves to actively contributing to socio-economic development and ensuring national defence, security and Party building work.

The fight against corruption, other negative phenomena and wastefulness, and the thrift practice are carried out drastically; the quality of Party cell activities, leadership capacity and combat power of grassroots Party organisations and members have been improved, making important contributions to building and rectifying the Party in many localities, agencies and units.

Participants discussed, exchanged experiences and shared new models, good and creative practices in the fields of Party building, socio-economic and cultural development, and defence and security. Difficulties and limitations in this work were also analysed and clarified, while practical solutions were proposed to promote the movement in the coming time.

On this occasion, the district Party Committee presented certificates of merit to 10 collectives and seven individuals; and the district People's Committee awarded those to two collectives and four individuals with outstanding achievements in the three-year implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW.

March 3 marked the first official working day for specialised agencies under the provincial People's Committee following the merger or transfer of functions and tasks from the previous agencies. On this day, the newly merged departments and agencies took proactive steps to arrange personnel, organise workflows, and implement tasks efficiently, ensuring that administrative procedures were carried out smoothly without interruption.
