The Vietnam Fatherland Front of
Yen Thuy district and benefactors support the building of charitable houses for
poor households and people with disabilities in Lac Sy commune.
With practical and specific actions, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of
Yen Thuy district has focused on improving the quality and efficiency of
building a clean and strong Party and administrations, promoting dissemination
and mobilisation activities to urge people from all walks of life to implement
the Party's policies and the State's laws.
Attention has been paid to widely deploying patriotic emulation movements and
campaigns in a bid to strengthen the close relationship between the people and
the Party, State and Fatherland Front at all levels, thus promoting the great
national unity bloc and social consensus.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels has flexibly applied policies and
solutions to arouse the self-reliant will and the aspiration to build a
prosperous and happy life, contributing to successfully implementing goals and
tasks of the Party Committee and local administration.
Over the past five years, local people have donated over 14,600 sq.m of land
and over 21 billion VND for building rural roads and public infrastructure
works.
The "One Commune, One Product" programme is associated with the
restructuring of the rural economy, contributing to increasing incomes and
improving people's lives.
Mobilising sources to help the poor and implement social security programmes
are regularly implemented by the Fatherland Front organisations at all levels
and member organisations, with the engagement of the entire political system
and the support of the people.
In the past five years, the district’s "Fund for the Poor” mobilised nearly 2.26
billion VND, helping to build and repair 204 houses of great unity; present
gifts to policy families and people with meritorious services, and households
with difficult circumstances; and support the building of livelihood models,
contributing to promoting poverty reduction in the locality.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held a gathering at the provincial Military Command headquarters on May 20 to commend the armed forces that took part in a military parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30.
