A high-ranking delegation of Hoa Binh province on July 14 offered incense in commemoration of martyrs at the Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Road 9 National Martyrs’ Cemetery in Quang Tri province on the occasion of the 77th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-2024).
The delegation includes Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of
the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui
Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the
provincial People's Council; Bui Tien Luc, head of the provincial Party
Committee's Mass Mobilisation Commission, President of the provincial Vietnam
Fatherland Front Committee; and Dinh Cong Su, Vice Chairman of the provincial
People's Committee, among others.

commune, Gio Linh district and the Road 9 National Martyrs’ Cemetery in Ward 4,
Dong Ha city are the resting places of nearly 20,000 heroic martyrs across the
country, including 132 of Hoa Binh province. These are two massive works of
gratitude, expressing the deep love and honour of the entire Party, army and
people for those who devoted their youth to the struggle for national
liberation and reunification. They are also the symbol of revolutionary
heroism, the spirit and will to fight for independence and the desire for peace
of the Vietnamese people.
Expressing their profound gratitude for the martyrs, the
leaders affirmed the Party Committee, authorities and people of all ethnic
groups of Hoa Binh province vow to continuously promote revolutionary
traditions, uphold the spirit of solidarity, and concentrate intelligence and
resources to build a rich, beautiful and developed Hoa Binh. They pledged to
continue ensuring regimes and policies, and taking more care of war invalids,
policy beneficiaries, and people who rendered service to the revolution.
On their journey, the provincial leaders also offered
incense and flowers to commemorate martyrs at the Dong Loc T-Junction special
national historical relic site in Dong Loc commune, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh
province; and offered incense and visited the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap
at Vung Chua - Dao Yen in Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh
province.
A delegation of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam led by Ambasador Sandeep Arya paid a working trip to Hoa Binh province on April 1, aiming to explore cooperation opportunities.
