Lac Son district's youth union, police, and military command have organised numerous meaningful activities for the community, contributing to prormoting solidarity and compassion following the example set by the late President Ho Chi Minh.
The district’s
youth union collaborates with the Muong Cat Parish to visit and give gifts to
disadvantaged students in Van Nghia commune.
Discussing the implementation of the Politburo’s Conclusion
No. 01 on continuing to implement its Directive No. 05-CT/TW regarding the
promotion of learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality
and lifestyle, Tran Cong Lam, head of the Lac Son Party Committee's Commission
for Information and Education, stated that Party committees and organisations
at all levels have conducted events disseminating Ho Chi Minh's ideology,
ethics, and lifestyle through diverse and relevant methods. They have regularly
monitored and grasped the thoughts of officials, party members, and locals, promptly
resolving pressing social issues and fighting against distorted viewpoints from
hostile and reactionary forces.
As a result, the district has seen the emergence of many
effective and exemplary models in various fields. For example, the
"Together for Community Life" initiative by the district police's
Party organisation has donated 20 cattle worth over 300 million VND (12,000
USD) to 17 disadvantaged families and provided over 80 million VND in support
for families whose homes were destroyed by fire. The programme titled
"Accompanying Students to School" of the local military has
distributed 160 bicycles, 70 Casio handheld calculators, and 110 school bags,
and granted 66 scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, while ensuring
support for four impoverished students until they complete high school.
Furthermore, the district has recognised several outstanding
individuals in the study and following of President Ho Chi Minh's moral
example. For instance, Bui Huy Vong from the Party cell in Bung Coi hamlet,
Huong Nhuong commune has spent many years researching and collecting materials
on Muong culture, while Bui Van Nien, a teacher, has guided students in
especially difficult areas to study and produce scientific and technical
products, which have won prizes at many competitions.
The dissemination of these exemplary actions in
Lac Son district has significantly contributed to the construction and
rectification of the Party and political system, thereby driving back the
ideological and ethical degradations or expressions of
"self-evolution" and "self-transformation" among Party
members.
