Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and a working delegation on October 18 visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries in Vinh Dong commune, Kim Boi district. Joining the delegation were Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Council; and Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

With 95.6% of its population belonging to the Muong ethnic group, the commune always strives to achieve important results in socio-economic development. Currently, the commune, recognised as meeting new-style rural area building criteria in 2019, is focusing on implementing the advanced new-style rural area building programme.
Vice State President Xuan acknowledged the results achieved by the commune Party organisation and people, saying she hopes that they will continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, as well as the implementation of patriotic emulation movements, and contribute more to further develop the commune in particular, and Kim Boi district and Hoa Binh province in general.
On this occasion, the State leader presented 42 gifts to poor households, policy beneficiaries, and reputable people in the commune.
The 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Groups of Hoa Binh province was successfully held on November 15 at the provincial Culture Centre.
