During her working visit to Hoa Binh province on October 18, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan toured a site where late President Ho Chi Minh once stayed when he visited the Kim Boi district’s Party Committee. She was accompanied by officials from various ministries, agencies, and central organisations.
Among Hoa Binh representatives present were Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Council; and Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee. Also attending were members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and leaders from various departments and agencies.

On September 19, 1964, Kim Boi welcomed President Ho Chi Minh for a working session with its Party Committee. During his visit, the late leader emphasised the importance of improving living conditions, agricultural practices, and production efficiency. This event not only served as a source of encouragement and valuable guidance for the district's officials but also became a point of pride and a motivating force for all local ethnic groups to strive for progress.
The 4th Congress of Ethnic Minority Groups of Hoa Binh province was successfully held on November 15 at the provincial Culture Centre.
In line with the Politburo’s Directive No. 05-CT/TW on promoting the study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle, the Party Organisation of Kim Boi district has been focusing on developing practical models that align with the roles and realities of local agencies and communities involved. Hoa Binh province has paid due attention to developing Party membership in non-state enterprises, helping improve the role of the Party committees, organisations and members in the firms.
