Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh expressed his hope for more support from the European Union (EU) and the French Development Agency (AFD) for the local development, while hosting a delegation from the two organisations led by Vice President of the European Commission Margaritis Shinas on October 23.

At the event, Khanh highlighted the locality’s potential, strengths, as well as its priority areas for investment attraction, including high-tech agriculture, manufacturing industry, food processing, and tourism development. He asked the EU to help the province with resources, technology, and connections with investors while assisting it to seek non-refundable aid to carry out projects in the areas of environment and agriculture.
He said he hopes that the AFD will continue its assistance for the province to implement the urban development project for climate change adaptation in Hoa Binh city.
Margaritis Shinas said the working session helps the delegation have a better insight into the province, a basis for the delegation to support Hoa Binh in green economy and green growth in the coming time.
On the occasion, the delegation visited the Hoa Binh hydropower plant, the urban development project for climate change adaptation in Hoa Binh city, and a rooftop solar project at R Vietnam Technical Research Co.,Ltd.

In 2023, the relic site where President Ho Chi Minh visited the Chi Hoa Production Group in Lam Son commune, Luong Son district of Hoa Binh province, was officially recognised as a provincial-level revolutionary historical site. Each year, it draws numerous visitors from across Vietnam and abroad, becoming a "red address" for educating young generations on the nation's revolutionary traditions.
According to the Party Charter, Party members who have been active in the revolution for a long time, and have maintained their Party membership for 30 years and more, will be awarded the Party badge. This is a noble reward, not only a source of pride and excitement for the Party members themselves and their families, but also a source of pride for the Party organisation that has such outstanding members who are shining examples for everyone to learn from and follow.
On the occasion of the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930–2025), the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board offered flowers and incense in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site of the late leader’s visit to the Chi Hoa production group in Luong Son district on February 3. The delegation included Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee; Bui Duc Hinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee; other members of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board, and leaders of the Party Committee of Luong Son district.
