In the afternoon of October 26th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) had a confrontation with Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club in the framework of round 1 – the First National Division Football Tournament in 2024 - 2025.

In this
match, Cong Phuong player was tightly marked by Hoa Binh FC players.

Many fans
were present to cheer for Hoa Binh FC.
Before
starting the match, the experts highly appreciated the squad of Truong Tuoi
Binh Phuoc Club for continuously recruiting quality rookies with the extensive
experience competing in the V.League... including Nguyen Cong Phuong - the
national player.
After the
referee, Le Thanh Tung blew the whistle to start the match, the players from
both teams entered the game at a slow pace. Hoa Binh FC was considered to be
more proactive. Especially in the second half of the first half, the coach Le
Quoc Vuong's students created the significant pressure on veteran goalkeeper of
Tan Truong's goal. While Cong Phuong has not had any finishing shot. However,
at the end of the first half, both teams failed to score a goal.
Entering
the second half, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club players rushed to attack, putting
the pressure on the home team's field to find an opportunity to score the
opening goal. The pressure increased significantly when the away team replaced
a series of new players on the field. Even at the 80th minute, Cong Phuong was
let off due to his lackluster performance.
Although in
the second half the game was dominated by tense developments, Truong Tuoi Binh
Phuoc team continued to control the ball more. At the end of the match, the
player Manh Hung of the away team shot, but the kick sent the ball to the right
position of the goalkeeper Tien Tao of Hoa Binh FC. At the end of the match,
Hoa Binh FC and Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club drew with a score of 0 - 0. The two
teams accepted to split points in the first round of the 2024 - 2025 National
First Division Football Tournament.

From April 26 to 27, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Hoa Binh Provincial Karate Federation organized the 2025 Hoa Binh Open ASUDO Karate Championship.
While modern sports like volleyball and football continue to grow in popularity, traditional folk games and ethnic sports remain a vibrant and essential part of cultural life among the Muong community in Hoa Binh province.
A total of 85 young players from across Hoa Binh province recently participated in the provincial Youth Table Tennis Tournament. Organised by the provincial Centre for Youth Activities, the event was part of activities to celebrate the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – 2025) and the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 – 2025).
