On October 31st, the Culture, Sports and Communications Center of Tan Lac district coordinated with the District’s Youth Union to organize the 2024 traditional marathon tournament of the district.

This year's tournament has brought together over 100 athletes from 20 units including the communes, the town, 3 schools and the district’s Public Security; Competing for the individual, team, and whole group prizes in 4 contents: male champion (6km), female champion (4km), young male (4km), young female (3km).

The weather was quite hot, however, with the spirit of determination and hard work, the competition in each content was exciting and fierce, contributing to the success of the tournament.


The Organizing Committee awarded the trophy and flag to the entire delegation to Ngo Luong commune.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 28 individual prizes (the first, the second, the third and the consolation prizes), 9 team prizes (the first, the second and the third prizes) and 3 team prizes. The specific results (the first prize only), the individual prize for the men's championship: Bui Thanh Duong (Gia Mo commune); the women's championship: Bui Thi Kim Phuong (Ngo Luong commune); the young men's content: Bui Van Hiep (Ngo Luong commune); the young women's content: Ha Thi Ngoc Diep (Van Son commune).

In particular, Ngo Luong commune excellently won the first prize in all 3 team events: male team champion, female team champion and young team champion.

The final achievement, for the team prize, the first place belonged to Ngo Luong commune; the second one belonged to Man Duc town; the third one belonged to Nhan My commune.
