Hoa Binh province held a ceremony at Hoa Binh Square on the morning of March 23 to launch the "All People Exercise Following the Example of Great Uncle Ho" movement and the Olympic Run Day for public health 2025.

Over 2,000 people take part in the launch of the Olympic Run Day for Public Health 2025 in Hoa Binh province.

The event was attended by leaders from various departments, agencies, and localities in the province, alongside more than 2,000 civil servants, public employees, armed forces personnel, senior citizens, students, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union members, and local residents from across the province.

This initiative was part of the celebrations marking the 79th anniversary of Vietnam's sports sector (March 27, 1946 - 2025), the 94th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2025), and the upcoming 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025).

Following the launch, delegates and over 2,000 participants, representing people from all walks of life, including the armed forces, youth union members, students, athletes, and workers from local schools, businesses, and communities, took part in the run.

According to the organizing board, following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings: "To produce, work, and study well, one must have good health. To maintain health, regular physical exercise is essential. Therefore, we should expand the physical exercise movement widely", Hoa Binh has consistently prioritized sports development to enhance both physical and spiritual health of local people. This approach helps to foster human potential, generating the energy and motivation needed to contribute to the province's development, with the ultimate goal of maintaining good health for the protection and construction of the Fatherland.
