(HBO) – The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just organized the Tournaments of ping pong, badminton and tennis for leaders in 2018. Attending the event was Mr. Bui Van Cuu, The Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

To participate in this year’s tournaments, there were 59 athletes from 32 offices with the leaders of Departments, Boards, Unions, Agencies and organizations of the province, city and districts. The athletes competed with 8 medal sets for the subjects: ping pong (individual men over 51, individual men under 51 and men doubles); badminton (mixed doubles, men doubles over 51 and men doubles under 51); tennis (men doubles under 50, men doubles over 51).

 Right after the opening ceremony, the athletes began to compete in the subjects in two venues, the tennis court of Sao Mai Entertainment Center and the provincial Sports and Physical Training Stadium. Over many exciting matches, the tournament completed successfully.

The results are as follow:

 *Ping Pong: in the content of individual men under 50: the first prize was given to Nguyen Huu Hieu (Ky Son), the second prize was given to Nguyen Thanh Binh (Cao Phong), 2 third prizes were awarded for Bui Van Dum (Kim Boi) and Dinh Van Thai (Ky Son). In the content of individual men over 51: the first prize was given to Nguyen Duc Thinh (Mai Chau), the second prize was given to Nguyen Manh Hoa (Da Bac); 2 third prizes were given to Tran Duc Truong (the provincial Fatherland Front Committee) and Bui Van Tuong ( Hoa Binh Newspaper). In the content of men doubles: first prizes for Bui Van Tuong (Hoa Binh Newspaper) - Nguyen Duc Thinh (Mai Chau), second prize for Bui Van Dum (Kim Boi) – Nguyen Thanh Binh (Cao Phong); 2 third prizes for Nguyen Huu Hieu (Ky Son) – Bui Dinh Giot (the provincial Fatherland Front Committee) and Nguyen Manh Hoa (Da Bac) – Tran Duc Truong (the provincial Fatherland Front Committee).

*Badminton: Men doubles under 50: first prize for Ha Cong The – Dang Mai Son (Mai Chau), second prize for Nguyen Van Quynh – Quach Huong Lam (Yen Thuy), 2 third prizes for Luong Van Thi – Xa Duc Tho (Da Bac) and Nguyen Phu Oai – Bui Van Phuc (Ky Son). In the content of men doubles over 51: first prize for Viet Luc (Procuracy) – Ta Phuong Dong (Veterans Association), second prize for Bach Duy An – Bui Van Tien (Kim Boi), 2 third prizes for Bui Nhu Dinh – Tran Anh Tuan (Tan Lac) and Nguyen Van Trong – Hoang Van Tan (Hoa Binh city). In the content of mixed doubles: first prize for Bui Van Tinh (Tan Lac) – Nguyen Thuy Binh (the Department of Justice), second prize for Quach Dinh Son – Tran Thi Nhan (Lac Son); third prize for Nguyen Van Son – Hoang Thi Thu Hang (Yen Thuy).

*Tennis: In the content of men doubles under 50: first prize for Nguyen Van Toan (Central Board of Propaganda) – Nguyen Duc Dung (Da Bac), second prize for Bui Quoc Viet (Red Cross Association) – Ha Ngoc Tuan (the provincial Ethnic Board), 2 third prizes for Nguyen Van Thuong (the provincial Telecommunications) – Pham Van Giau (Investment funds) and Nguyen Tung Duong – Nguyen The Dung (Hoa Binh city). In the content of men doubles over 51: first prize for Dang Ba Loc (the provincial Post Office) – Bui Van Hien (Provincial Tax Department, second prize for Nguyen Thanh Thuy (Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) – Hoang Minh Tuan (Labor Confederation), 2 third prizes for Dinh Danh Hanh (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism) – Nguyen Van Minh (Hydropower Company) and Nguyen Viet Trong (Department of Internal Affairs) – Tran Quang Khanh (Department of Health Service).
