HBO – Mai Chau district in Hoa Binh province has organised tug-of-war and stick pushing competitions for this year with the participation of 186 athletes from 17 communes and towns.

This is an opportunity for athletes to show their skills and
competition spirit as well as learn experience from each other. The
competitions aim to select the best athletes for training to join other big events
hosted by the province. Such activities are practical in response to the
movement of exercising launched by President Ho Chi Minh.
After two days of competition, the organising board granted
awards to the best athletes.
