Sports - a useful playground for workers, officials and employees.

In 2019, there were 715 sports festivals and performances organized and coordinated by units, with the participation of 27,417 turns of workers and employees. Additionally, in response to the campaign "All people exercise their body following the example of the great Uncle Ho”, the agencies, the units and the businesses have focused in investing in building and upgrading the facilities and the training equipment, forming sports teams and clubs. According to the statistics, there are currently nearly 2,000 badminton, volleyball and soccer fields serving the sports training needs of workers and employees. There have been sports fields to practice some volleyball, badminton, table tennis in most agencies, units and enterprises.

 

Caring and developing the material and spiritual life of the officials and employees is an important task of each agency, unit and enterprise. Accordingly, the Trade Union at all levels has strengthened the practice of physical training and sports and it has become a regular activity to improve health and build a rich spiritual life for employees.

Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan, the Chairman of the provincial Trade Union of the Industrial Zones, says: "Sport is a good medicine helping workers to improve their physical strength, enrich their spiritual life and enhance exchanges, learn, and unite. Over the past time, the Trade Union has chaired and coordinated to organize a variety of cultural and artistic activities. The sports competitions have attracted the participation of a large number of officials and employees, contributing to building a healthy and civilized cultural life and creating a lively and exciting atmosphere to successfully complete all the assigned tasks”.

Recognizing the importance of the regular physical training and sports, a great number of employees in the locality has actively taken part in the mass movement of physical training and sports. Thereby, it has been contributing to the development of mass sports movements, building a healthy cultural life in the residential areas.
