(HBO) - In the morning of March 25, at Hoa Binh Square (Hoa Binh City), the launching ceremony of the campaign "All people do exercises following the great example of Uncle Ho” and the Olympic Running Day for the health of the whole people in Hoa Binh province in 2023 were enthusiastically held with the participation of more than 1,500 people. There was the attendance Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the leaders from the appropriate departments, agencies, and delegations.

The launching ceremony of the Campaign "All people do exercises following the great example of Uncle Ho” and the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people in Hoa Binh province in 2023 were held at the provincial level. Along with the participation of the guets and the delegates, the Organizing Committee has mobilized the participation of over 1,500 people, including nearly 900 students, 100 young people, 100 army soldiers, 100 police officers, 200 people from Hoa Binh city, 100 civil servants and public employees and labourers from the province's Culture, Sports and Tourism sector.

The launching ceremony was held to propagate and raise the awareness of all the classes of people about the role, the meaning and effects of sports and physical training; encouraging the people to actively participate in sports and physical training, improving their health to study, produe, build and defense the Fatherland, contributing to the consolidation of the great unity bloc of the whole people. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam's Sports Sector and the day when Uncle Ho wrote the article "Fitness and health” with the view to calling on the people to do exercises (March 27, 1946 - March 27 2023); the 92nd anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2023); demonstrating the determination of the whole province in continuing to implement Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW on strengthening the protection, care and improvement of people's health in the new situation.

Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council was awarding the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the collectives and the individuals.

Making a speech at the launching ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Niem, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Head of the Organizing Committee emphasized: The launching ceremony was an activity of profound political, social and practical significance in the response to the campaign "All people do exercises following the great example of Uncle Ho” and the movement "Be healthy to set up a career and defend the country”, implementing Uncle Ho's teachings: "The people are strong, the country is prosperous”, "Doing exercises, fostering the health is the duty of every patriotic citizen”. On this occasion, she suggested that the leaders at all levels, agencies, units and organizations continue to pay attention and devote the resources to promote the mass sports movement. She also suggested that each individual choose a suitable sport to practice, contributing to improving the quality of life and building the homeland.

Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to the collectives and the individuals with the outstanding achievements in successfully hosting the cycling event at the 31st SEA Games and the 9th National Sports Festival in 2022.

At the end of the launching ceremony, the companion running content was held with the enthusiastic participation of the forces.
