HBO - On March 13 afternoon, a working delegation from the Hoa Binh provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a working session with Cao Phong district to review local development of culture, sports, tourism and family affairs.

Last year, State management on culture, sports, tourism and family affairs in Cao Phong district proved effective with good communication campaigns on political tasks and celebrations of the country’s major festivals. Cultural, art and sport campaigns became widespread and the campaigns "All people stay united to build cultural life” and "All people take physical exercises following the example of great Uncle Ho” attracted large participants from all walks of life.

Last year, Cao Phong district recorded 8,503 out of 11,112 households meeting cultural family standards, 80 out of 120 villages and residential areas and 90 out of 100 agencies, businesses and schools winning the title. Cao Phong district is home to spiritual tourism destinations such as Bo temple in Thung Nai commune, Khanh pagoda in Yen Thuong commune, Bong Lai temple and Dau Rong (Dragon’s Head) mountain in Cao Phong township, attracting crowds of visitors.

The delegation spoke highly of the district’s achievements in cultural, sports, tourism and family affairs development over the past years. They asked Cao Phong to continue stepping up popularisation of the Party’s directions, State policies and laws, and provide guidance and organize the implementation of those documents, while pushing forward the new rural area building campaign, and the building of cultural and sport institutions from the district to grassroots level for stronger development of cultural, sports, tourism and family affairs.
