(HBO) – Vu Duy Bong, Chairman of the An Thinh Real Estate joint Stock Company, decided to set foot in the tourism sector in 2014. He grasped all stocks and owned the Hoa Binh Tourist joint Stock Company.

The four-star Hoa Binh hotel designed in four styles-Muong Bi, Muong Vang, Muong Thang and Muong Dong was put into operation, becoming an opulent accommodation for both domestic and foreign visitors.

He also runs two three-star cruisers to serve tourists on Hoa Binh reservoir.

In addition, he has paid due attention to organising events to popularise Hoa Binh culture and people to international friends. Hoa Binh Tourist JSC is focusing all resources to invest in some projects in the core area of the National Hoa Binh Reservoir Tourism Site. Those include Ngoi village tourism site, and a five-star hotel complex on Sung island, Tien Phong commune (Da Bac district) with total investment of millions of Vietnam dong.

Seven stilt houses meeting international standards in Ngoi village are ready to welcome tourists and create stable jobs for tens of local households. The company recently inaugurated Vietnam’s largest floating water park with 34 clusters of games and water sports like motor, inflatable boat, fishing canoe, floating swimming pools and other local traditional sports.

The company has joined hands with leading experts in cultural tourism to conduct surveys at tourism sites and potential areas then devise investment strategies.

As a result, Ngoi village has been an attractive destination for foreign and domestic tourists to experience local culture as well as tourism products.

Despite investment pressure in the past four years, Bong was consistent to awake Hoa Binh reservoir by building typical tourism products, aiming to improve livelihoods for those contributing to the construction of the Hoa Binih hydropower plant./.
