Returning to the sunny and windy land of Muong Thang - Cao Phong district,
the orange-growing capital of the province. The 2024 - 2025 orange harvest
season has begun. This year, the oranges have not only yielded well but also
fetched good prices, bringing visible joy to the eyes and smiles of the
farmers.
For the 2024 - 2025 season, the total area of
orange trees in the district exceeds 710 hectares, with nearly 674 hectares in
the business period and over 40 hectares in the basic exploitation period.
In recent years, Cao Phong District has
focused on replanting orange trees, maintaining high-quality orange-growing
areas that meet VietGAP standards, and developing model orange fields combined
with tourism experiences.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of ministers, central agencies and Hoa Binh province attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Hoa Binh - Moc Chau expressway (Km19+000 – Km53+000) held on September 29 in Xeo hamlet, Cao Son commune, Da Bac district, Hoa Binh province. This is a key transport project and the first expressway in the province.
