(HBO) – The awarding ceremony for the first popularization contest in Hoa Binh province was organised at the provincial cultural palace on August 28. The event was attended by Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Chuong.

During
two vibrant competing days, 11 teams from 11 districts and city with 224 communication
activists went through seven rounds of competition, including self introduction,
art performance, communication skills, team’s short plays, knowledge of local
situation, radio announcement, and mobile popularisation.
The organising board presented 42 awards, with A, B, and C Prizes to the
excellent performances in each competing rounds.
In the self-introduction round, the A prize went to Hoa Binh city, while Tan
Lac and Cao Phong districts got the B prize, and Lac Thuy, Mai Chau and Kim Boi
districts brought home the C prize.
In the knowledge of local situation round, Lac Son district won A prize, Hoa
Binh city, Da Bac district and Lac Thuy district got B prizes, and Tan Lac and
Kim Boi districts bagged C prizes.
In the radio announcement round, A prize was for Tan Lac district, B for Lac
Thuy district, Hoa Binh city, and C for Lac Son, Cao Phong and Yen Thuy
districts.
Regarding art performance: Tan Lac district won A prize, while B prize was for
Cao Phong and Luong Son districts, and C prize belonged to Mai Chau district,
Lac Thuy district, and Hoa Binh city.
In the communication skills round, Cao Phong district brought home the A prize,
Ky Son and Tan Lac districts B prize, and Lac Son and Luong Son districts and
Hoa Binh city C prize.
Regarding team prizes: Tan Lac district won A prize; Hoa Binh city and Lac Son
district bagged B prize, C prize went to Ky Son, Cao Phong and Lac Thuy
districts, and consolation prize was for Da Bac, Kim Boi, Mai Chau, Luong Son,
and Yen Thuy districts./.
In Hoa Binh province, 11 traditional craft villages with more than 400 small-scaled production households have put in place a clean and green production model, establishing new standards for sustainable development. Waste collection sites and wastewater treatment facilities have been meticulously managed by local residents.
To make it easier for the residents to handle administrative procedures, Yen Bong Commune (Lac Thuy District) has identified the administrative reform as one of its key tasks. By implementing a range of synchronized solutions, the commune has seen the positive changes in the administrative reform, meeting the needs of its people.
Mai Chau district has firmly established itself as a standout destination on Vietnam’s tourism map, attracting both domestic and international visitors with its breathtaking landscapes, rich ethnic culture, and warm hospitality. However, beyond its natural and cultural charm, a secure and well-managed tourism environment has added to Mai Chau’s appeal.
As Vietnam enters a new phase of economic and administrative reform in 2025, Hoa Binh province is stepping up its efforts to streamline governance, boost economic growth, and attract investment.
The Hoa Binh provincial People's Committee held its monthly meeting on March 26 to review the progress of key projects, assess budget revenue and public investment disbursement, provide feedback on draft documents for submission to the provincial Party Committee's Standing Board, and discuss other important matters related to the committee's governance activities.
