(HBO) – The organising board of the science-technology creativity contest recently held an awarding ceremony of the 14th Teenagers and Children Creativity Contest, with Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Dung in attendance.

second prize to students of the 14th Teenagers and Children Creativity Contest
After one year launching, the contest attracted entries from all
11 city and provinces. Up to 71 entries were sent to the organising board, up
18.3 percent from that of the previous contest. All five categories saw the
competition of inventions: environmental protection and economic development
(25 inventions), home appliances and child toys (27 inventions), IT software
(seven inventions), learning tools (seven inventions), and environmentally-friendly
products (five inventions).
Of the total, 32 inventions were honoured, including two second,
five third and 25 consolidation prizes.
The organising board also granted five certificates of merit to
units for their outstanding achievements in the 14th Teenagers and Children
Creativity Contest, namely the Finance-Planning Division under the Department
of Science and Technology, Hoa Binh city’s Economic Division, Yen Thuy
district’s Education and Training Division, the Dong Chum Boarding Secondary
School for Ethnic Students in Da Bac district and Lac Thuy district’s Economic
Infrastructure Division.
The contest aims to help children and teenagers promote their
creativeness and improve their capacity to become inventors in future.
At the awarding ceremony, the organising board launched the 15thTeenagers and Children Creativity Contest (2018-2019) for products in five
categories of equipment for students, environmentally-friendly products, home
appliances and child toys, technical solutions to respond to climate change,
and IT software. Entries can be sent to the organsing board from the launching
day until June 30, 2019./.
