HBO) – The organizing committee of activities marking the 70th anniversary of armed forces in the northern province of Hoa Binh met at the provincial Military Headquarters on June 5 to assign tasks for its sub-committees

The conference approved a decision on the establishment and job allocation of the sub-committees. 


Accordingly, there are four sub-committees to support the organizing committee, including the content sub-committee headed by Nguyen Van Toan, member of the provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and head of the provincial Party Committee’s Department of Information and Education; the sub-committee for popularisation, decoration, festivities and ceremonies led by Bui Ngoc Lam, member of the provincial Party Committee and Director of the provincial Department of Culture; the guaranteeing sub-committee headed by Bui Van Duc, member of the provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Finance; and the security sub-committee led by Nguyen Thanh, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Public Security. 

The sub-committees have been tasked with giving advice to the organising committee in building and delivering documents popularising the 70-year history of the provincial armed forces; and devising a plan on the organisation of the ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of the provincial armed forces and receiving the Fatherland Protection Order, second class. 

They will prepare speeches to be delivered a the ceremony and meetings with retirees in the province, make documentaries on the 70-year tradition of the armed forces, build joint communications plans on mass media, and intensify communications work among the public to raise their awareness of the objective as well as significance of the celebration. 

Other jobs include conducting activities to pay tribute to families of invalids and martyrs and those which have greatly contributed to the revolution, and setting plans to ensure local security and safety during the event. /.
