Accordingly, the centre is currently preserving archives of the provincial People's Committee through the ages, departments, agencies and sectors of the province, and People's Committees of districts and Hoa Binh city.

These are sources of documents containing authentic, highly reliable information, and holding a particularly important position in forming the historical archive of the province. They are a valuable and important historical source which has the most comprehensive, complete, vivid and authentic demonstration of the process of formation, construction, and struggle to protect the country by Hoa Binh’s people since 1945 on socio-economic, political, and cultural aspects. Many of them hold contents on the establishment and merger of administrative boundaries of the province, and agencies and organisations in the province. Most of the documents are widely used and easily accessible in accordance with the law.

These documents can serve display, exhibition, and dissemination works, scientific research, be used to write theses and dissertations, and for making films and writing books about the history of activities and traditions of agencies, sectors, and localities.
