shop" staff when fulfilling procedures for electricity access.
Kim Boi commune launched the
"people-friendly administration” model in 2023, aiming to improve the quality
and efficiency of handling administrative procedure dossiers. Accordingly,
officers in charge of receiving and handling administrative procedures always
maintain gentle attitude; resolve procedures quickly, transparently, and
responsibly; and put people's interests first.
According to Bui Van Hoan,
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Kim Boi commune Party Committee, a steering committee
has been set up to implement the model, with its regulations and specific tasks
assigned to each member. The attitude and responsibility in performing public
duties of the officials and civil servants have been improved, satisfying
residents. In particular, people appreciate the commune's arrangement of a
separate room to hand over marriage and birth certificates along with
congratulatory flowers as well as an apology letter to people if there is a
delay in resolving administrative procedures, or a letter of condolences to the
family when a member passes away.
By synchronously and
effectively implementing a range of solutions, the commune People's Committee
has received 552 dossiers since July last year. Of these, 539 were resolved and
returned results before the deadline while 13 others are being processed, and
there are no overdue ones. Besides, sending letters on citizens’ special events
has created support and affection of the people towards the local Party
committee and government.
To improve the effectiveness of the model, the
Party Committee and People's Committee of Kim Boi commune will continue to ask
officials and civil servants to further promote their role and responsibility
of example setting in their work, especially at the "one-stop" shop,
for people's satisfaction, the official said.
