strengthening the solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
Many former specialists contributed a lot of good articles to
reviewing Vietnamese former specialists’ activities during the ten years of
supporting the Cambodian revolution and in historical information dissemination
and education for the younger generations. Over the past years, the association
has made advisory proposals to the Party, State and authorities on implementing
policies for former specialists.
Besides, the association has also carried out a number of
meaningful gratitude activities, such as caring for former specialists, sick
and wounded soldiers and martyrs’ families.
For these outstanding achievements, the association and many of
its members have been awarded with the Certificate of Merit of the
Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association for five consecutive years.
At the event, the delegates worked out direction and tasks in the
coming time and elected members of the executive committee for the tenure of
2017-2022.
