During the two days of November 14th – 15th, at the Provincial Cultural Palace, the Department of Industry and Trade organized a conference to connect the product consumption of the ethnic minorities and the mountainous areas in 2024. There was the attendance of the representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, businesses, manufacturers and distributors inside and outside the province.


The representative of Central Retail Group - the largest foreign-invested multi-sector retailer in Vietnam - signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with a number of businesses and manufacturers in the province.

The Program Organizing Committee informed the delegates about the potential and advantages of Hoa Binh; the province's socio-economic development situation in recent years, the typical products and strengths of the province; the product consumption promotion in the past, and the consumption needs in the coming time... At the same time, they have provided the information about mechanisms and policies to support production and promote product consumption in Hoa Binh province ...

This is an activity within the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of the ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in 2024. The conference has recorded many opinions from the delegates representing the leaders of several departments and branches of Hoa Binh province; the Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion in the Northern Midlands and Mountainous Regions; the representatives of manufacturing enterprises, cooperatives, business households, and distributors; the Representatives of the Business Association, the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association... The opinions focused on clarifying the potential and advantages of the typical agricultural and rural industrial products of the ethnic minority areas; the recommendations and proposals to remove difficulties in production development; proposing solutions to promote consumption...

At the conference, the Central Retail Group - the largest foreign-invested multi-sector retailer in Vietnam and distribution units: Duc Thanh General Trading and Services joint Stock Company (Hanoi), Tam Thanh Safe Food joint Stock Company (Hanoi); Dinh Nhuan Trading joint Stock Company (Hoa Binh) has signed the memorandums of understanding and cooperation with many businesses and manufacturers in the province. 

Previously, from November 14th, the businesses, the manufacturers, and the localities in Vinh Phuc, Ninh Binh, Ha Nam provinces organized nearly 20 booths to display and introduce hundreds of products of the typical goods and OCOP products of the people, the business households and the cooperatives in ethnic minority and mountainous areas. In addition, there are also OCOP products, the agricultural products, the consumer foods and the cuisine of the localities in the province.

Six-month industrial production index estimated to rise 20%
