Bui Van
Khanh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, speaks at the dialogue.
During the even, Khanh highlighted the significant contributions
of businesses and investors to local development, including job creation for
local workers. The dialogue aimed to address challenges, gather feedback, and
foster a more transparent, supportive, and dynamic business environment to spur
socio-economic growth.
Key matters included the Department of Construction’s monthly
updates on construction material prices to align with market conditions and the
Department of Natural Resources and Environment’s efforts to expedite permits
for mining activities. These measures helped address logistical issues faced by
enterprises.
Businesses raised concerns about land clearance, administrative
procedures, and project approval. Provincial leaders provided direct responses

implementation.
The provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Centre

urged relevant agencies to continue addressing business challenges, enhancing
competitiveness, and collaborating with central authorities to resolve issues
beyond the province’s jurisdiction. Businesses and investors were encouraged to
partner with local authorities to achieve shared development goals.

In the past, the phrase "bumper harvest, rock-bottom prices" was a familiar refrain for Vietnamese farmers engaged in fragmented, small-scale agriculture. But today, a new spirit is emerging across rural areas of Hoa Binh province - one of collaboration, organisation, and collective economic models that provide a stable foundation for production.
Maintaining growing area codes and packing facility codes in accordance with regulations is a mandatory requirement for agricultural products to be eligible for export. Recently, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Hoa Binh province has intensified technical supervision of designated farming areas and packing facilities to safeguard the "green passport" that enables its products to access international markets.
