(HBO) – In Cao Duong commune, the People's Committee of Luong Son District held a ceremony to announce Cao Duong Commune reaching new rural standard requirements.


Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, The Party Member, Director of Department of Planning and Investment awarded the certificate of New Rural Standard Commune in 2017 to the Party, government and people in Cao Duong commune.

 

Over the past time of implementing the National Target Program of building New Rural Area, the face of rural Cao Duong commune has been significantly improved, the buildings are built spaciously and modernly. Agricultural production achieved many important results. The culture and society continue developing. The material and spiritual life of the local people has been improved. The conditions of political security, social order and safety are always stable. The work of building the Party, strengthening the political system is concerned. In 2011, the average income was 7.4 million VND / person, and by 2017, it was 26 million VND / person / year. The poverty reduction work of the commune has been concerned. In 2011, the rate of poor households was at 25.75% and by 2017 the rate reduced to 8.33%. Since 2008, the commune has cleared up all temporary houses and dilapidated houses

Promoting achievements in new rural area development, in the period of 2017-2020, Cao Duong commune continues to maintain and improve the quality of 19/19 new rural development criteria which have been achieved. The commune will continue investing in building economic infrastructure, rural society, developing production to improve material and spiritual life of local people. The rural area will be developed in accordance with being planned, the agriculture will be attached with the development of services, tourism, trade; the cultural identity will be preserved and promoted, the intellectuals will be improved; the quality of the political system will be improved to be near to the local people, listening to their opinions.

Recognizing the efforts of the Party Committee, authorities and local people in Cao Duong commune in building New Rural Area, the provincial People's Committee awarded the certificate of recognition to the Standardized New RuRal Commune in 2017 and awarded the welfare project valued at 450 million VND to Cao Duong commune.

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Luong Son District presented certificates of merit to 7 collectives, 3 households and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in building Cao Duong commune to get the standards of New Rural Commune./.
