(HBO) – In the first six months of 2019, the northern province of Hoa Binh generated jobs for 8,070 labourer, fulfilling 51 percent of the yearly target. The province supported 560 locals to seek jobs through the National Employment Fun and 105 others to work abroad temporarily.

Local authorities are implementing tasks and solutions in the provincial employment programme for 2017-2020.

The province allowed 19 businesses to recruit workers to work at home and abroad.

It opened four occupational consulting and introduction sessions with the participation of 30 businesses and over 1,500 workers.

The province also paid attention to adopting insurance policies for employees, paying unemployment allowance worth over 11 billion VND (471,383 USD) for 953 workers.

Vocational training and education continued to be promoted in association with job creation. Relevant agencies urged vocational education facilities to build enrollment plans for the 2019-2020 school year and provide career orientation for students.

As a result, 3,490 people were admitted to vocational training classes in the first six months of the year, fulfilling 22.23 percent of the annual target./.
